Savannah's 19th Century Homes

1106 E. 33rd Street
Savannah homes smack of character even during the 20th century.  This home, located on E. 33rd Street, was built in 1920 and has 10 bedrooms!  (This home is currently for sale on zillow.com). A remembrance of yesterday is provided in architecture and design. Contrast this with the first palmetto huts built for Oglethorpe's first voyagers!  Throughout the ages, Savannah remains a genealogists dream. Also, Chatham County probate records are preserved, dating from the very first will (1777) of Button Gwinnett.  The images are digitized and members may view them online at Georgia Pioneers
